The West Angeles Community Development Corporation seeks to implement a series of initiatives related to the recently-approved Crenshaw to LAX light rail project that will run from Crenshaw/Exposition on the north to the Los Angeles International Airport. West Angeles and its affiliate organizations is the second largest land owner ion the Crenshaw Corridor.

The WACDC transit center district planning initiative, “Train Coming Our Way Community Engagement Program,” builds upon the community’s consensus, vision and plans for the area (i.e., neighborhood council perspectives, Crenshaw specific plan, etc.). WACDC is committed to ensuring that the $1.7 billion programmed for the Crenshaw to LAX line will be a guided investment, which is essential to sustaining a vibrant business corridor that serves families, commuters, business owners and locals alike.
