ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

The Economic Development Department aims to reverse the trend of disinvestment in inner city commercial districts through the redevelopment of state-of-the-art commercial properties, as well as offering programs, financial education and resources for individuals and families that will create momentum for ongoing improvements in the lives of people who live and work in the Crenshaw District and surrounding South Los Angeles communities.

Small Business Development

West Angeles CDC Business Services program provides assistance to entrepreneurs and small business owners throughout the South Los Angeles community with starting, growing, and strengthening their business. Our program provides access to technical assistance, including one-on-one counseling and entrepreneurial training. In addition, West Angeles CDC hosts ongoing topical workshops and seminars to help educate business owners about various subject matters.
