West Angeles CDC will soon break ground on the development of the West Angeles Plaza at 3501 West Jefferson and Crenshaw Boulevards, in the heart of the Crenshaw District. West Angeles Plaza will feature the first new commercial buildings in South Los Angeles in nearly 50 years. The proposed project includes the development of a 45,000 square foot commercial office and retail building, intended for professional business and office tenants as well as high-quality, major retailers.

The Plaza, which creates 150 jobs, is designed to reinforce Crenshaw Boulevard as the principle mercantile street in South Los Angeles by incorporating commercial space required by top-level tenants. The Phase I building will feature a state of the art banking facility and office space and will undoubtedly serve as the catalyst for future commercial development in South Los Angeles.
