The Homebuyer Education Seminar is held on the third Saturday of each month. It is an eight hour course in which perspective homebuyers learn everything they need to know to successfully navigate the process of searching for a purchasing their first home. Our job is to assist perspective homebuyers in becoming mortgage-ready to purchase and maintain a home.
In this course, participants will learn about the services we provide, such as credit-rebuilding program, financial sustainability and access to a network of lenders, realtors and insurance partners., down-payment assistance programs and closing cost funds that are available.
Each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of the seminar at the end of the day. Through the assistance of our housing counselors, you will receive one-on-one counseling, complete a budget and an affordability analysis. The Certificate of Completion will allow our perspective homebuyers to most down-payment assistance programs provided by the City and County of Los Angeles, California.
